Colin and Woody in Times Square! Thursday, September 27, 2018 When we rescued Colin and Woody this spring from sure death at a dairy farm in Upstate New York, we were so grateful to be able to save their two precious lives. Caring for them brings us joy every day. As we’ve been telling their story, the story of two male dairy calves, we’ve become very aware that most people don’t know the truth about the dairy industry and what happens to 15 million baby boys, just like Colin and Woody, every single year. So we decided to tell Colin and Woody’s story and tell it loudly. Woodstock Farm Sanctuary is launching a brand new dairy information campaign called Dairy Truth and our first stop is Times Square (yes, THE Times Square)! On September 26, 2018 we unveiled eye-catching posters featuring our very own Colin and Woody. Find them in the Times Square N/R Line subway stations at 49th and 50th streets. We’re asking all our NYC friends to take pictures of the posters, share them all over social media, tag us, and use the hashtags #whywoodstock and #dairytruth. Together we’ll share Colin and Woody’s story and inspire so many to live dairy-free. And if you’re not in NYC, you can help by sharing the website, sharing our posts on social media, and taking the dairy-free pledge today. These posters are just the beginning of all we have in store so stay tuned for this ongoing campaign. Please visit dairytruth.org, take the pledge, and share. Your support moves mountains. For the animals, especially Colin and Woody and their mothers who they will never know. P.S. To learn more about Dairy Truth and support the campaign, click here!
