You’ve heard their upbeat, clever songs used in all sorts of tv commercials and on radio stations across the country. You Are My Flower Also joining us this year is one of our favorite artists of all times: Elizabeth Mitchell performing with her family band You Are My Flower. Elizabeth is a Smithsonian Folkways Recordings artist, who has released seven high-praised and popular albums of children’s music that appeals to the young and old. AND… Best Selling Cookbook Author Terry Hope Romero Terry Hope Romero, author and co-author of bestselling vegan cookbooks Veganomicon: The Ultimate Vegan Cookbook, Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World, Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar, and Viva Vegan!: Authentic Vegan Latina American Recipes and her newest Salad Samuri, will be here presenting a lively and informative cooking demonstration and signing some of her famous cookbooks! Want to eat at the Yelp’s 4th Top-Rated Place in the whole USA? The Cinnamon Snail vegan food truck is rated that high, and so we’re especially stoked to steal them away from NYC for the day to serve up their innovative take on street food and desserts. Equally unique is Like No Udder — the world’s first all-vegan soft serve ice cream truck, coming all the way from Rhode Island. More local but no less legendary is Aba’s Falafel, whose fluffy chickpea-based sandwiches are nothing short of magic. Speaking of magic, closeup magician Eric Walton is here to make your brain hurt. Good thing we also have a top vegan physician fielding questions about nutrition at her Ask-A-Doctor booth. Kids will enjoy a bouncy-castle, hula-hooping, face-painting, and recycled art-making by Scrapkins. And of course you can visit up close and personal with hundreds of animals, hear their stories, and appreciate just how delicious animal-product-free food can be!
