Momma & Piglets

piglets

On Saturday October 10th, 2015, over 120 animals were rescued from a backyard butcher in Montgomery, NY.  These poor animals were in horrendous condition – crammed in barns, little food, and living in their own feces.  In addition to the 5 sheep and 9 goats, we rescued a mother pig with 5 baby piglets to their new safe haven at Woodstock Farm Sanctuary.  Instead of ending up on someone’s plate, they will now live happily in peace for the rest of their lives.
