Marathon Man: Jim Porcaro Runs NYC for WFAS Author: Doug Abel | Sunday, November 07, 2010 | No comments A fan cheers on Jim Porcaro, who ran the NYC Marathon to raise bucks for the farm. Photo: David Silver Jim Porcaro at the end! Volunteer Jim Porcaro challenged himself to run the 26-mile NYC Marathon today, and raised funds for us at the same time via his CrowdRise page. Jim came in at 4:06:31, a little beyond his ambition of under four hours but the 59th Street Bridge incline is a cruel mistress. You can continue to donate to his page up to a week after today’s marathon. Thanks Jim!
