If you're in the NYC area this Tuesday, February 16th, please join us for a FREE evening of art, refreshments and music at JivamukTea Cafe from 7 - 9 pm (841 Broadway @ 13th St, 2nd Floor).
This show features gorgeous works by two of our most dedicated volunteers... who happen to be tremendous artistic talents -- Jean Rhode and Bob Esposito. Jean does these amazing paintings with text about animal freedom and love (on reclaimed scraps of the locust wood that we use for fencing here at the farm). Bob is a gifted photographer who has captured many beautiful and humorous animal moments and portraits here at WFAS.
Jean will be there and so will WFAS Co-founders Jenny Brown and Doug Abel. When you get bored of them, come chat with WFAS Board Members Dawn Ladd, Dan Piraro and Ashley Lou Smith!
Musician Nora Balaban with various members of her group MbiraNY will perform Zimbabwe-inspired music.
100% of the sales from their works go to WFAS. And if you miss the Feb 16th opening the show will be up through Mar 15th.
