You can hear a sampler of the new album on the band's MySpace page.
A longtime vegetarian and vocal animal rights activist, Chrissie has
even opened a vegan restaurant in her native Ohio. We're profoundly thrilled
that's she's chosen Woodstock Sanctuary as the venue for one of the
earliest live performances of this fantastic new collaboration.
Opening performer Joy Askew has performed with such
luminaries as Peter Gabriel and Laurie Anderson and will play songs from
her upcoming CD. Joy is also a longtime activist on behalf of farm
animals, who have inspired much of her music and songs.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS:
JUNE JAMBOREE IS A-COMIN'
This event is so popular we've made it two days long. Please join us on June 12th and 13th for fabulously inventive food by The Regal Vegan, grilled goodies, loads of musicians such as Elizabeth Mitchell, a performance by Arm of the Sea Puppet Theater, plenty of kid-friendly activities and, of course, time to cavort with the chickens, play with the pigs, and generally kvell at all the cool rescued critters. All the details are still being ironed out but check our website soon.
Even the car-challenged can come, as the Adirondack Trailways bus will drop you off right at the farm.
