Friday Night Film Screening: Okja

Sep 8 , 7:00 pm - 9:20 pm

On Friday, September 8th, Woodstock Farm Sanctuary will host an outdoor screening (indoors if it rains) of the 2017 film Okja directed by Bong Joon Ho and produced by Netflix. Starring Tilda Swinton, Jake Gyllenhaal, and An Seo Hyun.

A gentle giant and the girl who raised her are caught in the crossfire between animal activism, corporate greed and scientific ethics.

Registration is required since space is limited – please be sure to register if you plan to attend. We suggest a $10 donation with each registration that will continue to fund our advocacy, education, and shelter work at the Sanctuary.

Parents please note: the film doesn’t have an MPAA rating, but it is recommended that teens age 17+ view this movie because of some language and mature themes. Netflix gives a TV MA rating to this film on their site.
