MORE RESCUED RESIDENTS

Although guinea fowl are native to the Hudson Valley area, Woodstock Farm Sanctuary is currently home to 6 guinea fowl. They are usually free-roaming the Sanctuary property and alerting each other of nearby humans. They can be found all over the sanctuary coexisting with our other rescued residents. Guinea fowl are flock animals and prefer to be in groups.

These helpful birds also help prevent Lyme Disease by reportedly eating up to 4,000 ticks per day.
