ANIMAL SPONSORSHIP

Sponsorships support the animals who call Woodstock Farm Sanctuary home by helping us provide them with food, shelter and top-quality medical care.

Sponsorships can be made as a monthly contribution or a one-time gift and come with a beautiful certificate of sponsorship and a photo of your chosen resident. Sponsorships also make great gifts! Simply put the name and address (or email address) of your chosen recipient and we’ll send the sponsorship package to them! 

Resident-of-the-Month Club

Interested in sponsoring a new resident every month? Members of our Resident of the Month Club will receive a different animal’s rescue story and a beautiful photo of that resident as a keepsake each month. Click below to learn about our fun new sponsorship option!

Golden Years Sponsorships

Did you know over HALF of our Sanctuary residents are seniors? Caring for them is costly, so we created a special sponsorship to support our senior care fund. Your help covers daily meds, winter coats, extra vet visits, and therapies like laser and acupuncture. As a thank you, you'll get beautiful photos of our seniors and email updates on their well-being.

Payment Options

If you’d prefer to pay by check, please pay the year in advance and specify which animal you are sponsoring. Also, send us an email with instructions on how you would like the sponsorship package(s) sent — all to one person, each to different individuals, or just for yourself to enjoy! Sponsorship FAQ

  • Each of our animals already has a name, so a new name isn’t applicable for the sponsored animal of your choice.

  • Yes, our sponsorship program offers the availability of any resident living at Woodstock Sanctuary.

  • While some residents don’t have sponsors yet, in general the animal sponsorships are a symbolic way of supporting a resident. The funds go into our general operating budget and are not earmarked to that specific animal (doing so would be next to impossible if you think about it—we can’t tell Mikey not to eat Maybelle’s hay!)

  • A sponsorship is an annual or monthly gift that supports the care of our residents, providing them with food, shelter, bedding, and medical care. The rescued animals of Woodstock Sanctuary are permanent residents and cannot be adopted by private homes.

  • Sometimes animals may pass away unexpectedly. In general we issue sponsorships only for animals who are not elderly and not likely candidates for adoption. However, in the event of death or adoption we’ll make every effort to notify you as soon as possible, and give you the option of transferring your sponsorship to a different animal or ending it.

  • We strive to issue them within 10 days, but at peak times it may be longer. If you have a need for quicker service please let us know on the order form and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

  • We ask for a minimum of a 12-month commitment. A lot of work and effort goes into our sponsorship program, and it is not feasible to offer shorter terms.
