Mama + Family
In October of 2015, over 120 animals were rescued from a backyard butcher in Montgomery, New York. These poor animals were kept in horrendous conditions – crammed in barns, little to no food, and forced to sleep and live in their own feces. In addition to five sheep and nine goats, Woodstock Sanctuary took in a mother pig with her five baby piglets.

Mama and her babies Duke, Michael, Sara, Ericka, and Buster now spend their days together, never to be threatened again. We are so happy we are able to provide lifelong care to this sweet family.
