THE GRAY BARN
The Gray Barn, our award-winning boutique inn, sits on the Sanctuary's property and offers five rooms, each with its own en suite bathroom and private terrace. Windows throughout overlook our Tiniest Herd goat pasture, Rondout Creek, and the backdrop of the Shawangunk Mountains. Rooms are well-appointed and serene, with high-end minimalist décor hand selected to promote a vegan and earth-friendly culture.

While staying at The Gray Barn, you can wake up to a home cooked vegan breakfast, and then continue on to learn about the work of the sanctuary through a guided tour—all of this is included in your stay.
Anna Balser, Woodstock Sanctuary’s Education Manager, will introduce you to many of the rescued residents where you'll have the opportunity to interact and bond with these incredible beings, hear their inspirational stories and get an inside look at sanctuary life.
Then feel free to venture out and explore the Hudson Valley and its sweet little towns. From hiking the endless nearby trails to strolling down the artsy streets of Woodstock, you will have plenty of wonderful activities to choose from. Each booking directly supports the Sanctuary’s animal rescue, humane education, and advocacy work.
