RESCUE RESOURCES

Woodstock Farm Sanctuary specifically handles farmed animals, and we are unable to offer help with companion animals, exotics or wildlife.

Some resources to assist you with such cases are listed below.

Animal Abuse + Neglect

We have no authority to investigate animal cruelty cases. For help with a possible case of abuse or neglect for any animal including farmed animals, please contact your local humane law enforcement officer or local humane organization.

Companion Animals

For help with companion animals, such as cats or dogs, please contact your local animal shelter or animal control.

Wildlife

For help with injured wildlife in New York State, visit the NYS Department of Conservation website for more information on wildlife issues and to find wildlife rehabilitators in your area:

Please do not attempt to feed any wild animals you have found and talk to a licensed rehabber before you intervene. In most cases “abandoned” wild babies are not abandoned and do not need human help.
