  • (Disabled & Senior duck flock/ Medical barn pen)

HOME TO: Kiwi, Kanga, and more

Our disabled and senior duck flock is a really special group. These birds all have mobility issues or other health issues and need extra care and attention. They get physical therapy and water therapy daily – on cold days they swim in the medical barn sinks and on warmer days they have their own little pool to enjoy. They have outdoor time regularly, but they do sleep inside in one of the pens in our medical building for their safety. Kiwi is a member of this flock, and she has a custom-made wheelchair that she uses to help her get exercise. The members of this flock change as those from other flocks move into this group as they age, develop mobility issues, or need some extra medical attention.

    SPONSORSHIP:

Sponsor this flock today and name their pen in our medical building with a one-time sponsorship gift of $5,000.
