AMELIA

In 2012, Amelia was found as a piglet wandering around on her own, and was then brought to an animal shelter in upstate New York. In August of 2012, she found her forever home at Woodstock Farm Sanctuary. Amelia’s life blossomed and she bonded with the pig herd quite quickly. In 2018, she was diagnosed with a mass on her ovaries and uterus - she needed surgery and was at risk for her age. But Amelia is a fighter, and thankfully the surgery went well. Amelia has since made a full recovery and you can now find her enjoying her days in the senior pig barn with her friends Antonio and Curly. Amelia has a heart of gold and her sweet, kind eyes make her hard to forget.
