About Woodstock Sanctuary
Woodstock Farm Sanctuary is a nonprofit animal rescue and forever home for nearly 300 rescued farmed animals on 135 acres in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley.
Since our founding in 2004, Woodstock Sanctuary has saved tens of thousands of animals’ lives directly, from some of the worst conditions imaginable, and impacted millions indirectly through our highly effective education and advocacy work. Through our Public Education and Advocacy and Legislation Programs, we create connections between humans and animals that foster greater empathy, compassion, and responsibility, inspiring people to view farmed animals as worthy of respect and care. We also steward and conserve critical wild spaces on the Sanctuary grounds and conduct environmental education.
Over the last two decades, we have grown and learned so much. But our heart and mission remain constant—save lives, educate and advocate, and wake up very early every day, in all sorts of weather and hardship, to care for the incredible animal residents who live with us. They are the heart of what we do, and they inspire us to keep going.
Woodstock Farm Sanctuary is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations help us continue our rescue and advocacy work and provide for our animal residents. For more information on how to support the Sanctuary and get more involved, please visit here.
