Visit Woodstock Sanctuary in Fall

There are many ways to celebrate fall in New York’s Hudson Valley, but a visit to Woodstock Farm Sanctuary in High Falls offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the season’s beauty, while connecting with rescued animals including cows, pigs, turkeys, goats, and rabbits. The Sanctuary has upcoming fall tour days, private tours, events, and an onsite inn.

Woodstock Sanctuary offers guided tours most Saturdays through November 14th!  Families with young children are especially welcome on the customized family-friendly 10am tours. There are also private tours available most weekends and during the week all fall for visitors who would like a more intimate experience...or to spend more time with specific animal residents of the Sanctuary.

“We’re so fortunate to live in such a beautiful area, especially during the fall,” says Rachel McCrystal, Executive Director of Woodstock Sanctuary. “Our tours offer a special way to create fall memories while supporting rescued animals! And every visit, stay, and event supports the work we are doing to save lives.”

Guests of all ages can meet some of the nearly 300 rescued animals who call the Sanctuary home, including recently rescued baby goats Hobbes and Bonnie, each with their own unique rescue story. During the tours, visitors learn about the Sanctuary’s mission to foster compassion for all living beings, while enjoying the stunning fall foliage of Sanctuary’s 135 acres.
