Benny

In 2013, Benny was sent away from his family home after he was caught eating flowers from a garden. He was separated from his only two friends when they were sent to a farm that wouldn’t accept Benny because he was male. Somehow, Benny ended up at a Greek Orthodox monastery where his fate was to either be eaten by the residents or sold at auction.

A caring stone mason who was working at the monastery intervened and reached out to us for help. We are so grateful we had the space and opportunity to help. Benny has truly become quite the popular goat! He’s well-known for his wavy hair, kind face, and quirky personality. When Benny’s best goat friend David lost his vision, Benny was truly there to guide and support him.
