Jerry

In August 2025, Jerry the piglet wandered into a family’s yard, confused, alone, and covered with scrapes. Thankfully, this kind family wanted this baby to live and reached out to find him a new home. We had just rescued another piglet, who we named Suzy. We knew that Jerry, not only needed our help, but could be a great companion for Suzy as well. When this speckled piglet arrived, he was covered in scrapes and bruises, and we could tell right away that he was quite itchy and uncomfortable. He had a high count of parasites, which can be extremely dangerous, so we immediately treated this and his skin abrasions.

We are so thankful both piglets were able to get medical treatment immediately. Jerry is eager to explore the grassy pastures and even enjoys a dip in a pool! He and Suzy spent many months bonding before they were big enough to join a group of older pigs. Both Suzy and Jerry now live alongside Sylvia, Marge, and Bunny, and these adult pigs help keep an eye on these two!
