Lora

It was late spring in 2026 when we first heard Lora’s story, and we knew we had to help this bunny. Lora was originally bought at auction to be used to train hunting dogs but the person who bought her had a change of heart and didn't want to hurt her. Sadly, they still couldn’t provide proper care or shelter for Lora, and she was kept outside during the cold winter months. A kind person who was aware of the situation thankfully stepped in and helped get Lora to sanctuary.

Lora is really settling in, and we can’t wait for her to make friends. She is a sweet, energetic little bunny, who seems very happy to hop around in her big, protected yard and bunny barn. She is getting to know two other rabbits, Frankie and Franny, through the fence in their yards. Rabbit introductions are best done slowly; so, for now, they are getting used to each other from a distance, but we hope that these three will become good friends.
