Franny was rescued in summer 2025, along with several other rabbits, from a neglectful hoarding situation in nearby Beacon, NY. 

Glinda and Elphaba have been through so much. In 2024, they were abandoned in the woods with no food or shelter.

In September of 2023, we learned of two rabbits who came from a lab in Massachusetts, where they were being bred for cardiology studies.

Frankie was rescued in October 2022, along with Millie the duck, from a neglectful hoarding situation.

Before her rescue in November of 2020, Snowbunny was being used as live bait to train hunting dogs.

In 2019, a supporter of Woodstock Sanctuary found Sherman just outside of a live-kill market, where animals are crammed into cages before being killed at a young age for meat.

In 2018, the director of a local horse sanctuary contacted us asking for help with a rabbit in their care named Hootie.
