Woodstock Sanctuary tours showcase the living spaces of rescued cows, pigs, goats, turkeys, chickens, and sheep. During tours, visitors will have the opportunity to hear the rescue stories of the individual animals they will meet, and learn more about issues in animal agriculture and farming through those stories.

Since last season, we’ve had new rescues arrive and new friendships between residents arise. We’re excited to share stories about the unique personalities of the rescued animals and the circumstances they’ve survived. Every year is an opportunity to encourage the public to make compassionate choices with animals’ wellbeing in mind.

Some words from visitors over the last year:

“Such an amazing sanctuary. Take a tour! Friendly for family, couples, and friends. Such sweet animals and organization.”

“We had such fun getting to know about the various rescued animals at the sanctuary—both in general about the species as a whole and about each individual animal. Our group included people of all ages and backgrounds, and everyone had a wonderful time. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and the experience is wonderfully hands-on. I couldn’t believe how big cows are, when you’re standing right next to one! Not to be missed, if you love animals.”

“[I]…am beyond touched by the beauty and love Woodstock Farm Sanctuary carries. I love animals so much and recognize how much love everyone here has for the animals and it is truly beautiful and heartwarming…truly extraordinary.”
