Atticus

In the fall of 2015, multiple sanctuaries rescued over 120 animals from a backyard butcher in Montgomery, New York. These poor animals were kept in horrendous conditions — crammed in barns with little to no food. Woodstock Sanctuary took in five sheep, six pigs, and nine goats. Most of the goats had pneumonia, lice, and worms and little did we know, a few were also pregnant.

Stella the goat came to us from this rescue and in February 2016, she gave birth to two healthy babies, Harper and Atticus.

Atticus has been loving life in sanctuary and is one of the more playful goats – he can often be found on top of the gyms that have been set up in the pastures for goat enrichment. He has a very sweet face and personality to match.
